Train with Trey is a holistic fitness company. We seek to bring out the inner athlete in everyone by testing our limits. What started as a nebulous idea has grown into a full-fledge pop-up fitness brand. We believe the only way out is by facing obstacles head on, and by doing so, we’re able to break through limitations and experience our best selves. We focus on the MIND, BODY, and SOUL through our various, diverse range of workouts and events. Ultimately, we create a community of warriors and support each other on the journey up the mountain!
Thomas “Trey” Cox, III is a wellness strategist. His workout style is more spiritual than surface. By way of his Instagram stories, you’ll find that he’s always engrossed in a stack of books relating to self-work, fitness philosophy, and rewiring our mindsets for greatness. A Morehouse College graduate and Atlanta native, his first encounter with fitness was when he started playing basketball at four. Trey continued to play throughout high school and in the intramural league at Morehouse College. He also hosted fitness events through campus organizations and co-chaired the College Charity Run 5K with his good friend Austin Easterling bringing awareness to the stigma around mental health. Trey still actively participates in adult basketball and flag football leagues in DC (Ball is Life) to keep the competitive edge! After moving back to Atlanta, Trey took a leap of faith to start Train with Trey combining fitness, community, and mindfulness for young professionals. Trey believes in pushing the limits of human potential. Trey is a newcomer to the District and works in the progressive advocacy space - fighting for marginalized communities that have been left out and forgotten. This passion leads him everyday as he seeks to make real change in the world.
